Artist's Comments

This will be the first piece of artwork I've done in quite a few weeks. And it's for Mid, my fiance.

Mid's fursona/character has gotten a revamp due to recent spiritual events you could say. So he told me the changes and asked me to draw a portrait/head shot picture of it, since the only changes/additions were on the face.

The new changes/additions:

- Right eye is now yellow

- Black patch around the right eye that appears like it's coming out of the silver fur.

- Black chunk/streak in the blue hair on the left side.

The facial structure is pretty good, but the colouring is what impresses me most. Very defined fur and hair. Good highlights, good expression, if a bit dull. Ah, but who doesn’t enjoy a nice scowl every now and then, eh?

His left (or right...your right) ear is noticably larger then his right (southpaw from front view) ear.

I'm perfectly aware of the ear. Problem was is how I positioned it on the paper, I pushed it too far to the left..making that ear smaller then the other.

I was also going for a "dull" expression, I didn't want it too alive for this one. Wasn't meant to be that way, so yeah.

I'm also honestly not a big fan of critques (sp? x.x)...even though it was supposed to say critque discouraged..but yeah. I usuallu pick up all the mistakes and flaws on my own, I just choose not to fix them because I KNOW I will mess it up further, because it's always been the case. :\

But thank you for the comment.
